Four-time Indy 500^® Winner Al Unser had an action-packed sophomore run in May of 1966. Team Lotus recruited the young Unser to join Jim Clark (Item#5204) and defend the team's championship at the Indy 500^®.

The race got off to a poor start with a multi-car accident early on and another on Lap 5. Team Lotus tried to hold on in '66 but a controversial lap count slipped Unser's teammate Jim Clark into 2nd place.
