This is the popular F3 Ph II by InterMountain. These Santa Fe units feature the beautiful "Warbonnet" paint scheme and they are the passenger locomotives. .
Our all-new HO scale F3's come completely assembled – simply take them out of the box and put them on the track. The Regal Line drive is the same powerful, smooth drive unit you may know from our F7 locomotive, but many of the details are all new!
These locomotives feature:
• Detailed Phase II F3 bodies with 45 degree numberboards and etched metal “chicken wire” applied to the body.
• Wire handrails and grab irons
• A new single-trumpet air horn
• Single or dual headlights as appropriate
• DCC-ready with a NMRA eight pin socket
• Slit dynamic brakes or non dynamic depending on the road name and number!
• Short or tall fans, depending on the road name and number!
• Steam generator detail on either A or B unit when appropriate!
• Passenger or Freight Pilots. (couplers come installed on all units, the passenger pilot doors are included for the modeler to install in the open or closed position.)
• Kadee no. 26 couplers on the nose of the A unit – installed!
• Kadee no. 5 couplers installed on the rear of the A unit and both ends of the B unit
